How listings get here
Two ways. Most of what you see was imported from public business data and nobody at the company has touched it. Those listings are marked unclaimed. The rest were submitted by someone at the company through the submission form.
Every submission is read by a person before it publishes. We reject companies that are not UAE based, duplicates of listings that already exist, and submissions that exist only to place a link. Nothing publishes automatically.
How providers are ordered
Providers are ordered by average rating, then by number of reviews, then alphabetically by name. Listings with no rating yet appear after rated listings. Nothing else moves a provider up the page.
That rule is applied by one function used by every listing page on this site: the home page, the browse page, category pages, emirate pages and provider cards inside guides. There is no override, no hand-placed listing at the top, and no paid position.
At the moment almost no listing carries a rating, because we only publish a score for a company we have actually collected reviews for. Until that changes, the practical effect of the rule is alphabetical order.
Featured listings
There is no paid tier today. If one is ever introduced, featured listings will carry a visible Featured label on every surface they appear on, including cards, listing pages and profiles. A featured listing will never be presented as an ordinary result.
Links to provider websites
Unclaimed and unverified listings link to the provider's site with rel="nofollow". A normal followed link is granted only after someone at the company claims the profile and confirms control of an email address on the company domain, and only after a person approves that claim.
This is deliberate. A directory that hands out followed links to anyone who fills in a form is a link scheme, and it would eventually take every listing here down with it.
Reviews and ratings
Where a rating is shown, it comes from data we hold for that provider and the review count next to it says how many reviews sit behind it. We do not estimate, and we do not carry a rating across from another platform without saying so. A listing with no rating says so plainly rather than showing a zero.
Who publishes this
Brand in UAE is published by GoDesign FZE, a Dubai company that is itself listed in this directory. GoDesign receives no ranking advantage here and its profile uses the same template and the same rules as every other listing. You can see its listing and compare it with any other. It uses the same template, the same fields and the same ordering rule, and its outbound link is nofollow like every other unclaimed listing.
The directory does not take a commission, does not resell enquiries as leads, and does not sit between a buyer and a provider. You contact providers directly using the details on their profile.
Corrections
If a listing is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Contact the directory, or claim the profile and correct it yourself.
